About CashFate
CashFate explains everyday money decisions in plain language: opening a bank account, moving money across borders, choosing a card or an insurance policy, and working out what a month actually costs. We started with Thailand, because that is where we live and bank, and we will add other countries one at a time, each in its own section.
How we write
- No stale numbers. Interest rates, fees and exchange rates change constantly, so every guide links to the provider's live page instead of quoting a figure that will be wrong next month.
- Options, not one answer. Most money questions have two or three reasonable answers depending on your situation. We lay them out and say who each suits.
- Dated and updated. Every guide shows when it was published and last checked.
- Honest about affiliate links. Links that can earn us a commission are marked ↗ and the guide carries a notice. See the affiliate disclosure.
What we do not do
We are not licensed financial advisers, and nothing here is personal advice. We do not recommend specific investments, we do not sell anything ourselves, and we never ask for your account details.
